New Delhi: This is far too astonishing. An Intel note has revealed that the Taliban ministers themselves are providing funds to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Purpose of these funds is to carry out terror activities with a nefarious aim to destabilise India. The terror organisation’s chief Maulana Masood Azhar’s family members are directing the allotment of funds.
Jaish-e-Mohammed literally means the ‘Party of Mohammad’. Mohammad was the founder of Islamic in 7th century Arabian desert. The terrorists of this group claim that they are following in the footsteps of Mohammad. As per Islamic theology Mohammad is an ideal for all Muslim men.
These Taliban ministers belong to the Haqqani Network. It is one of the most radical branches of Islamic terrorism. Haqqani network started gaining its foothold after Taliban’s hostile takeover of Afghanistan. It is not only the Haqqani Network that is providing funding. But, Al-Qaeda is also providing funds to Jaish-e-Mohammed with the nefarious intention to destabilise India.
This has come in public domain via Republic TV, that gained access to an Intel note mentioning details of modus operandi of Jaish-e-Mohammed and how it is acting as Pakistan’s strategic asset against India.
The note also discloses the support extended to Jaish-e-Mohammad by Pakistan which has given permission to set up its headquarters in Bahawalpur.
LeT, JeM and HM: the evil trio
This is extremely dangerous news, because there are three groups currently active in India and Kashmir valley. These are Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen.
Since the Narendra Modi government has been successful in reducing terrorism only to Kashmi valley, Pakistan is desperate to increase the level of violence and terrorism, because it is not able to keep Kashmir in limelight.
Therefore, defence experts are of the opinion that Pakistan wants to increase their violence and that is why its now asking groups like Haqqani and Al-Qaeda network to finance and train them.
Under these circumstances, the central government should be prepared to check any wicked intentions of Pakistan and terrorists active in India, aiming to destabilise the country.
