New Delhi: Apparently, Shraddha Walkar’s murder case has woken up the conscious of the nation. Nirmal Kaur, a retired Jharkhand DGP of Jharkhand has said that entrapping Hindu women by Muslim men has become a culture.
She said that Muslims entrap Hindu girls knowing fully well that their community people will give money and legal support to save them. Kaur, speaking to NDTV, alleged that Muslim men are getting huge foreign funds for entrapping Hindu girls.
“The persons who carry out the entrapment of Hindu women are provided with motorcycles and heavy monetary assistance. These people are confident of support and even legal help if things go wrong. Many such cases are cropping up these days. In a way, it is their sub-culture,” Kaur, who is a 1983 batch IPS officer who retired as Jharkhand DGP, said.
This sub-culture permits and makes their people believe that women have no feelings and value in society. They see her as an object. Once they feel they have used her, they kill her. Because now her existence does not suit them.

Such heinous murder, Kaur said, is normally committed by psychpaths, but Aftab does not appear to be a psychopath. However, Aftab is highly influenced by his sub-culture where Hindu women are seen as an object.
The retired DGP also drew comparisons with similar heinous murders of Hindu girls in Jharkhand. In one case, the accused Shahrukh killed an innocent Hindu girl. Shahrukh had been stalking Ankita but, she did not respond to his overtures. One night he reached her home and burnt her alive. Shahrukh was so remorseless that he was smiling when police arrested him.
In the second case a Muslim named Arman Ansari raped and killed a Hindu tribal girl. Ansari raped the pregnant woman and then hung her body from a tree. Muslim men have committed both these murders within last three months.
Shraddha’s case
On November 14, the Delhi police announced solving the six-month-old murder of Shraddha and arrested Aftab for murdering her. They revealed that the accused had brutally cut Shraddha into 35 pieces.
Aftab strangulated Shraddha on May 18 and stored her body parts in the refrigerator. He then disposed of the pieces in Delhi’s Mehrauli forest for the next 18 days.
The accused was apprehended based on a complaint lodged by Vikas Walkar, Shraddha’s father, on November 10.
Vikas alleged that Aftab and his daughter had rented an apartment in Delhi and were in a live-in relationship. He said that he had always opposed their relationship as the killer used to physically assault Shraddha.
Despite the violent conduct of Aftab, Shraddha continued relationship with him.
Shraddha fell in love in Mumbai, where they stayed and worked in a call centre. Later they eloped to Delhi due to opposition from Shraddha’s parents.
Three days after they shifted to Delhi, they engaged in a quarrel and Aftab happened to kill Shraddha. He confessed his crime on November 14 and stated that they used to fight a lot.
