In another shocking case, police has arrested one Mohammad Faiz for allegedly threatening a minor Hindu girl. He had been stalking the girl for some time. The incident took place in Naubasta, Kanpur.
The Kanpur police arrested the accused Mohammad Faiz for allegedly threatening a 17-year-old girl. He threatened to kill and cut her into pieces after she rejected his marriage proposal.
According to reports, Mohammad was very angry after the girl turned down his marriage proposal. “If you don’t do Nikãh (Islamic marriage) with me, I will cut you into pieces,” he allegedly threatened her like this. Incidentally, the literal meaning of Nikãh is penetration.
The girl’s family said the accused has been following her to school. He allegedly harassed her repeatedly despite the fact that her family warned him several times. After he did not heed to their calls, the family approached the police to filed a complaint against Mohammad.
The cops raided accused’s residence. But, instead of cooperating his family started quarelling with the police. Members of his family and his neighbourhood started fighting with the cops. The police had to call for additional force to prevent some untoward incidents. Police has was filed the case against Mohammed Faiz under POCSO Act.
Mohammad Faiz was also arrested earlier
As per police, Mohammad is of criminal nature. He has three cases already registered against him. Police had earlier arrested him in a case of assault. Police produced him in court on Sunday. The court has sent him in police custody.
Recently, 28-year-old Aaftab Amin Poonawala allegedly strangled his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar and sawed her body into 35 pieces which he kept in a 300-litre fridge for almost three weeks at his residence in South Delhi’s Mehrauli. He later dumped the pieces across the city over several days. Medical staff will conduct the remaining sessions of polygraph test on him on Monday.
