New Delhi: The forensics experts have analysed the dismembered bones of a female body retrieved by Delhi police. They match with DNA samples of Shraddha Walkar’s traumatised father Vikas and brother. This is what the results of DNA samples say, police sources said.

The Delhi police on Thursday convened a press conference on the subject. But, the officials did not spell out the details of the results of DNA samples. They just stated that they have obtained the reports of polygraphy and DNA tests from CFSL.

Nevertheless, this is a major breakthrough in Shraddha murder case.

Live-in partner of Shraddha, Aftab Amin, had brutally murdered her on 18 May. Aftab strangled her, dismembered her body into 35 parts, and dumped it across multiple locations in New Delhi.

During the polygraph test, Aftab admitted that he had pre-planned the murder. He expressed no remorse or regrets at his crime. In fact, he expects that a god called Allah will give him Houris in the Islamic Jannat.

Lawyer of Shraddha’s father confident

Earlier, Seema Kushwaha, the lawyer of Shraddha’s father Vikas Walkar, had expressed confidence of getting capital punishment for Aftab. She said that the court will consider the case as rarest of rare and award death penalty to Aftab Amin.

“After collecting all the pieces of evidence, then we will decide how to present the case in court. Aftab’s motive, his cruel method, and the way he committed the crime will be investigated under Section 6 of The Indian Evidence Act,” Vikas told reporters.

“The blackmail complaint against Aftab is really important for our case. There it is mentioned how Aaftab had threatened her that he will cut her into pieces and murder her. Later he confessed to killing her in the same way. I am sure this case will come under the rarest of rare cases and Aaftab will be awarded the death penalty,” Seema said.

Earlier this month, Delhi police had recovered some parts of the female body including a skull, jaw, and dentures during their searches at Mehrauli and Gurugram forests, and a nearby pond.

They also said that Aftab had strangulated Shraddha and then chopped her body into 35 pieces and stored them in a fridge at his house. He then severed her head and burnt the face of Shraddha. He did this to hide the identity of Shraddha even if police is able to recover her body parts.

Aftab had also searched on the internet about the ways to dispose off the body after committing the murder.
