Islamic terrorists have killed another Hindu, Puran Krishan Bhatt in Kashmir. Islamic terrorist group called Kashmir Freedom Fighter has claimed the killing. Terrorists killed Puran near his residence in South Kashmir on Saturday.
It is the latest incident of targeted killing of Hindus in Kashmir. According to Jammu and Kashmir police, Puran was going to an orchard when unknown criminals fired at him. But, as per locals, the terrorists attacked Bhatt just outside his residence. Injured Puran Bhatt was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
This is at least third act of terror by Islamic group called Kashmir Freedom Fighters. In June this year, terrorists from this group killed Bank Manager Vijay Kumar. Islamists had killed Vijay just outside his office. Bystanders rushed him to hospital where he died due to his injuries. The incident had taken place in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
In August this year, terrorists of Kashmir Freedom Fighter had shot two brothers in Shopian district of Kashmir. Sunil Kumar and Pintu Kumar were residents of Chotipora village. While Sunil died on the spot, Pintu sustained grievous injuries. Terrorists killed them because they were active in organising “Tiranga rallies”.
The terrorists released a poster in which they boasted of the killing.
The Lieutenant General of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha has termed it a “dastardly act”.
According to Jammu and Kashmir police, the forces have cordoned off the area. Law enforcement agencies are trying to hunt down the terrorists.
It is Genocide – Kashmiri Hindus
As there is no let up in targeted killings of Hindus, they have decided to continue their struggle for survival. Panun Kashmir (Our Kashmir) has said that these killings are not mere law and order problem. It is an ongoing genocide of Hindus.
Dr. Chrungoo, president of Panun Kashmir has called killing of Puran Krishan as the latest genocidal killing. The aim of Islamists is to terrorise the miniscule population of Hindus still living in Kashmir.
Narendra Modi government is reluctant to accept it as a genocide. Knee jerk reactions cannot solve this problem. The state should institute a policy structure to deal with this religious terrorism. The government is trying to create an impression that it is a law and order problem. Nothing can be farther from truth. It is Islamic terrorism leading to genocide of Hindus. Appeasing the terrorists will be counter productive.

Meanwhile, KPSS president Sanjay Tickoo alleged that the deputy commissioner of Shopian and senior superintendent of police (Shopian) are “pressuring the victim’s family to conduct the last rites as soon as possible as they have to show normalcy in the Valley.”
